Merry Christmas from Vegas

We had a great Christmas. And when I say WE I mean Tad, Tab, Cole, Clay, Lily, Nicki, Steve, Jill, Trev, Dani and Daven. Yahoo. We had some family here for Christmas. Everyone came to our house on Christmas Eve and spent the night. We had so much fun. The kids opened all the presents in about 2 seconds and then wanted to play the new videos games. Cole, Clay and Lily each got a Nintendo DS and Tad got a Wii. He got me Wii Fit, so watch out summer here I come. Daven even got a video game, a Learning from Music. The kids all went together and gave Dani and Nicki tickets to O at the Ballagio for Saturday night and Steve got a day at the LAs Vegas Mini Grand Prix with the boys on Friday. Dani got a map of the world. If you want to know what Jill and Trevor got you ahve to visit thier blog, Im not giving away that suprise. Anyway, I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. THe best gift given this year was having everyone here to play with us. More pictures to follow...

BIRTHDAY TIME!!!!!!!!

We all love my old geezer (kidding Andy kidding) and he just got older and now we all have to make comments about his age and say how old he is and he's an old fart (kidding kidding kidding... Mom put the wet noodle down no threatening....no you can NOT destroy the computer) and how my mom is CrAzY and how they make such a cute couple and how they love each other (yeah that's right now you can't be mad because I AM GLORIFYING YOUR RELATIONSHIP MWAHAHAHA) and yada yada yada yada I could go on for hours about the soulmates.
BUTNOW IT IS TIME TO GIVE HIM CRAP AT ALL POSSIBLE TIMES!!!!! WE LOVE YOU ANDY but you know you would tease me too ^_^

Happy Thanksgiving weekend to everyone. For those of you that came to Vegas, Thank you, we had so much fun. For those of you we missed, We love you all and are grateful to have an amazing family. I am so glad I married your brother and son. He is my better half and an even better Dad. Thanks Tad. Here are some pictures of tonight when Jill, Flick, Andy, Tash and the Noorlanders came over for dinner. We had a blast. Tiff- I love you so much and we have a blast together. Flick you need to move to Vegas so we can hang out and laugh. Tasha-ok so everyone should have warned me that she is a young woman. Tasha you are beautiful and a wise young lady. Andy, your how old? Hey everyone!!!! It's La Squash! You love it you want more of it cause I am awesome!!!! This is a really random post and I know if I put it on my blog no one would read it cause no one checks it! HA! kidding! Anyway I just read this book it's a manga (japanese) comic and it's a continuation of the labrynth (I don't think I spelt that right). It's Toby (the boy who got kidnapped by the goblins) when he's 16 and he returns to the labrinth and has adventures of muchly great awesome things! I think everyone should read it it's Into the Labrinth or something like that. Sorry I just turned it in to the library so I can't check on what it was. AnywayZZZZZ READ IT NOW I COMMAND YOU!!!!!!

I Quit My Job

I got a new JOB....I am now at the D.I !!! I start on Monday and I am SOOOOOO excited. It is Mon-Fri 8-430. I little longer hours now than at the school, but it is a 40 hour work week. I will keep you up to date I as no more.

New additions to our Family

The Shurtleffs have 2 new additions to the fam. Hold on I know what you are thinking and I quote NO MORE BABIES. Hahaha. Tad and I have adopted 2 Shituzes. A friend of ours is moving to Florida and cant take them with her so we are lucky enough to get them. The white one is Daisy and the black, one who is a Sambo look a like, is Taz. I have also added a pic of Logan because he is feeling a little insecure. We will let Jill have the babies and we will have the puppies, right Flick.

4th of July

We had so much fun over the 4Th of July. Tad and the fam stayed at Flicks house and we had a blast. We missed Tasha, she was with her Dad. These are pics of the fam at the Aquarium. Daven had his 1st trip to the Aquarium. I got the cutest picture of Daven and Jill. We have the best family and I want to tell you all how much we love you. Thanks Flick for the hospitality and the ping pong. Just remember you have more blankets so your the favorite.

You are beautiful, sweet, funny and neat! She's such a responsible mom, especially now that Alex is a teenager. She probably got that from babysitting us when we were little, she practically ran the house while both our parents worked. I will never be able to repay you, even though I watched alex during the summers - I got paid to do it. You are a great part of our lives. We love you. Don't worry i will remove the shake face picture soon. Happy Birthday to Adam on the 29th last month. I am so forgetful.

Pinewood Derby Champs

Hey Family. Today was out Pinewood Derby for our scout troop. What a fun night we had. I am proud to tell you that you have a 3 time champ in your family. Cole won the races again this year. Three years in a row. He won as a wolf and bear and a webelo. Clay won 2nd place 2 years in a row also. The boys and Tad make a great car making team.

End of a GREAT season

What a fun baseball season we had this year. Clays last game was yesterday and he lost the good fight. He played against the Cubs and he hit a triple. It was beautiful. The ball floated down the 1st base line and into the hole. He brought in 2 players and put him on 3rd. Nice!!!
Cole has been done for about a week. They finished in the 1st round of the tournament too. He had a great season. He played Catcher and 2nd base. He really learned alot about paying attention to the game. I am glad we had some good coaches on Cole's team. Coach Robert was awesome and was very patient. Tad also coached this year and he has fallen in love with all the boys and is sad to know they will not be playing anymore. Anyway. I'm glad we did it but I am glad it is over....

SUPERMAN!!!!

Even though he is a super hero, he still gets old. What an amazing addition to the shurtleff-fam. Trevor is wonderful. Just like another brother, except he never got me in a leg lock and made me pee my pants (Thanks Tad!!) Plus, he is super lucky to have won the heart of Jill. Definately takes a super hero to deserve a precious gem like my sister! Love you forever!

No. 1 Man.

It's crazy to think that Alex is fourteen now! He's quite the gentleman. He always tries to pay for the ladies when we go out or at least get us some treats. He's hillarious and so loveable. These are some old pics of him, but they are still way cute. He's already a lady killer, always telling me about his girlfriends. We hope you continue to do the right thing.
